Folio Space Privacy Policy

Overview

Folio Space is designed as a private reading app for Apple Vision Pro. Your books, documents, comics, reading progress, and library metadata are stored locally on your device unless you choose to import, export, share, or connect to external services through system-provided features.

Information We Collect

Folio Space does not require a Folio Space account and does not operate its own server for collecting your reading content. We do not collect the contents of your imported EPUB, PDF, CBZ, or ZIP files on Folio Space servers.

The app may store local information needed to provide the reading experience, such as your library list, reading progress, display preferences, downloaded books, and purchase entitlement state.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Folio Space receives purchase status information from Apple to unlock Pro features.

Network Libraries

If you choose to connect Folio Space to a Calibre-Web or OPDS network library, the app uses the server address and credentials you provide to request catalogs and download books from that server. Those requests are sent to the server you choose, not to Folio Space servers.

Photos Permission

Folio Space may ask for permission to add images to your photo library when you choose to save an illustration from a book. The app uses this permission only for the save action you initiate.

Diagnostics

Folio Space may use Apple-provided crash reports or diagnostics when you have enabled sharing that information with developers through Apple. These reports help improve app stability and do not give us access to the contents of your books.

Third-Party Services

Folio Space relies on Apple services for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and system document features. Your use of those services is also governed by Apple's privacy practices.
